Follow the steps below to download updates and scan your computer for spyware using Ad-aware. Click on the links to view screen shots.
1. If you have not already done so,
download
and install Ad-aware.
3. In the windows that pops up, click on
Connect
in the lower-right hand corner.
4. If an update is available, click
OK
to download and install it.
5. When the webupdate is complete, click
Finish
.
6. Click
Next
in the lower-right hand corner.
7. When the scan is complete, click
Next
in the lower-right hand corner.
8. Right-click on one of the objects found, choose
Select all objects
, and then click "Next" in the lower-right hand corner.
9. In the window that pops up, click
OK
to confirm removing the spyware.
